Maarten is working as an Infrastructure Architect on the Wokplace Services Department within ING. The main objective is finalizing remaining migration actions of back-end services like Exchange, Lync, Active Directory, DFS and Netapp. Besides that he is responsible for designing and implementing a Citrix Sharefile solution which is implemented for 60.000 end-users Worldwide.
As infrastructure Architect on Fujitsu's ING Account, Maarten was responsible for Designing and Implementing new storage solutions based on Netapp FAS Series. In 14 countries where ING is active. Maarten did re-design of of the infrastructure, Design of new back-up solutions. During the build and migration phase Maarten gave lead to the international technical team (India, Belgium, ) as technical lead. And managed the implementation succesfully.
On the ING account Maarten was responsible to design a new back-end infrastructure for a Managed Print solution based on Nuance Equitrac. Besides the design of the infrastructure and accompaniying the supplier, Maarten was responsible for the technical part of the migration. The Migration had to be as silent as possible since a lot more high impact migrations shoudl took place in the future. Maarten managed to migrate 40.000 end-users without a single notice.
Within Xerox Maarten worked as a solution architect on several Large accounts within the Netherands. His task was to write neew architectures for Customers of Xerox, and help them migrating to new follow-you environments.
